EPI’s first ProMAX® system was acquired from Advance Geophysical in 1993 and  since then we have supplied purchase and rental ProMAX® systems for field or shore based operations.

We have built systems, often at very short notice, using a variety of hardware platforms, SUN, SGI, IBM etc. Our current preferred platform is the quad processor IBM Zpro hardware running Linux. A typical rental ProMAX® field processing system would be:-

 Up to 5TBytes RAID | Fibre-channel connectivity | Gigabit LAN

Hi-resolution graphics interface | Hi resolution displays
